The door panels confirm a standard interior...

Everyone is correct. That was one of the items in the Mach 1 63R package, "All Vinyl Bucket Seats". The cheapest interior available. You had to pay extra to get the Mach 1 Sports Interior option.

No, early 72's had the center release.

I think the change might have came with the addition of retractable rear sear belts and passenger side dash " fasten seat belt "   light
