71-73 mustang Fastback Non Fold down rear seat

I am trying to figure out how install my plastic Green rear inside quarter panels . I am not sure if the edge of the quarter panel goes on the out side or the inside of the rear seat interior Filler panel. Please view my 3 photos. I have tried it both ways. When I got this 71 stang it was completely apart and I have no photos. If anyone has a photo of your 71-73 mustang rear NON fold down seat , please post a photo , it would be greatly appreciated.

Won't swear I got it correct - but my rear quarter panels sit over/on top of the filler panel flange. That seems to provide the most aesthetically pleasing appearance to me.

Hi, I've attached a page from the 1972 Ford Shop Manual Vol 4 Body. It appears that the panel is attached on the outside of the filler panel. Hope you can make sense of it. Your application is Figure 6 at the bottom of the page for non-fold down rear seats.

The lip of the sheetmetal filler panel should be on the inside of the plastic quarter trim panel.
