Saw this one on FB. Looks like a very well built custom Mustang. I actually like it a little. (Rare for a purist!)

Appears the pics were taken about 1978.

Personally, I don't care for the chop-top or the extreme tapered nose treatment - it's just too much, IMHO. The taillight panel and even the extended rear glass are pretty cool, and you just can't go wrong with Borrani wires & spinners.

Other than that, I have to go with 'Meh...' :-/

Thanks Ray for the pic, Ya it's pretty cool. I also think the chop makes it a bit bulky looking but it's smooth and nice. It's great that as a purist, you tend to keep yours that way but at least are willing to show appreciation for some custom work. I got the other window trim knocked out today. I'm thinking bed liner for them, it'll give me the semi gloss Matt look and be durable. Also add a bit of a crinkle finish like the original pantera parts. Now I need to weld mounting tabs on the car for them, Hers a pic.

That's a really cool detail Ray I like it. ::thumb::
Thanks Luke, I felt like there were a few critical styling cues that I should incorporate to make the pantera reference a little stronger. Also the similarities in the rear side windows between the 2 cars almost demanded it and it's a small detail that added some exotic car flare. It was not an easy option ,lol however , I ended up with about 8 hours into these things. Still a better cost & time option than writing a program to cut them from billet. There are a few guys on this forum who tend to keep me in check when it comes to detail with their "keep it simple" preference. I hope I don't offend them with the addition of these trim pieces.

image.jpegThanks Jeff. I got the tail light brackets made today and set them in for a trial fit. Took a few pics from different angles trying to get a feel for how it's going. See what ya think guys.
