Here's the latest video from Amsoil, installing the engine. See what the rest of you think about the transmission. Looks to me like a C6 that they didn't even clean up, let alone rebuild. It does look like the pan has been off so maybe they changed the filter. I would have expected something a little better, with an OD, like an AOD or 4R70W.

Hmmm - going on your words alone (videos don't play well here at work because of all the other bandwidth hogs), I would've expected at least a clean & serviced transmission in a giveaway car that they are receiving money for (in some form or fashion).

Yeah... the AOD my friend pulled from his '89 5.0 even got 'blasted with Castrol Super Clean/Degreaser and a high-pressure sprayer before I tossed it into my '71. The thing was almost spotless when I finished, and it only cost me 20 minutes and $12 for 2 cans of Castrol.

Did Amsoil contract Gas Monkey Garage to build this car for them, or something? :whistling:

Well I guess that's something to somebody but not to me. He's still a jack ass in my opinion.
