THAT looks Cool!

LOL if you manage to make them close to your rendering I think you might be able to sell a few sets to people on here!
That would kinda defeat the one off look he wants though:dodgy:
True......If he sold them in his state.....or country :D
Oh I understand now  Looking out for ole KEN:p

Came up with a quick render...now all I need to do is figure out how to make real ones :) if I could make them close to my render I think they'd look pretty badass!!!

Oh that's to cool. You need to make these tail lights happen.

I made some revisions and came up with a more detailed rendering. the first is a pic of the '13 just for reference. I've looked into a few options for making these, from possibly molding them myself, to having them CNC'd by a shop. I haven't really figured out what it's gonna cost me yet, but I definitely need to figure out a way to make these happen! I think it would be a significant improvement over stock.

I'm really diggin' those. They would look absolutely SICK on an all-black car like that.

How do you plan on handling the 'back-up' lights?

I need to figure out how the '13 does the back-ups...I thought of that too because the back-up's on the '10-'12's are in between the three red bars??? I'm thinking it may have something to do with the LED's...may be different color LED's behind the lens:huh::huh:

Just out of curiosity...What kind of interest would I have in these if I am able to outsource the manufacture of them and offer them at a reasonable price???

I'm not sure how the '13 does it but you could run a row of red leds then white and just alternate them. If you do get led tail/brake lights you might want to look into getting a pulse width modulator for the tail lights. http://www.ledmarkers.com/power.html

Also check out the 4 pin superflux leds, like these
