The Franken-Stang (Just look it makes Sense)
Boss 302 Transplant--Yes someone actually did this
Hi All.

My 72 just has Ford badging on the Back end. It looks quite old but unsure if original or not.

No Mustang Badging.

Just curious if anyone has any info if this may have actually come this way.

Other pics below as well.

We call it the Franken-Stang (When you look you will see why...from what we can tell most of the changes were done back in the 1970's including the Motor and hood)

Interior was probably later. And it actually has an OEM Ford Badged Remote CB Radio in it from that time.

Thanks for the help

Joe

That looks like a Ford badge from an early '80s Ford car or truck. '72 Mustang convertibles had the Mustang script on the right side of the deck lid.

Steering wheel is from a layer Mustang? A Stallion, maybe.

Thanks for the link
Didn't know if you'd seen that before.

I like the black and silver paint scheme. It would be cool to make a phantom 'What If?' 71-73 Stallion. Or yellow one.
