OK, I have just this week paid for my Mach 1. I'll be driving it from AL to CA.

My Aust insurance will not cover this.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Has anyone done this before or know someone who has?

Many thanks.

James

Check with the Aussie vehicle registration people as well. In Virginia, for about $5 I can get something called a trip pass so that the vehicle is legally registered to cross state lines. If memory serves, it was good for about 3 days. Plates from Australia might also be needed for the travel? As for insurance, starting with your current carrier is probably the best bet.

What did you get bud? Did I miss the link you posted? Gimme pics! Quick! Hehe...

Enjoy the trip... Don't blow all your money at the casino, James packer wants some of your hard earned too when you get back!

Catch ... Jim.

I was wondering about that and also how can you get license plates and title to the car?
