HID headlights can be a BIG safety problem is not installed properly. There's a kid down the road who put some HID headlights on his civic along with a fart muffler, if you meet it at night it totally blinds you, all you can do is try and stay in your lane, then all of sudden you hear the muffler farts as it goes by.
Those lights would be the cheap plug and play HIDs. Trust me retrofitting in a quality projector will be better than stock projector HIDs. I have a friend with a Chrysler 300 that he took the old projector out and swapped in Morimoto Minis (the same projector that I'm going to put in my mustang) and the output difference was amazing. All you have to do is make sure they are aimed correctly.

As for those dumb civic guys, you're right they are blinding and sound like crap not to mention are slow.

Again sorry for taking this thread off course.

Thx for the links. Ill have to keep my eyes open for different options at the various car shows in the next year.

I kinda want t find something that has a "rim glow" sort of like the new Camero look. Not sure exactly but Ill know it when I see it.
Oh you want a halo look, that would look sweet you can get a set of those and then retrofit them, if you want.

Thanks J, I really like those!

Sorry I didn't mean to hijack this thread and take it from being about the rear end to headlights.

No worries about hijacking this thread. Thanks for the Headlight link. I think those HLs are the perfect look.

BTW, I decided to do a billet custom rear light set up. Im going to use LED tubes.. 2 that go across the entire back to be used as a third stop light inside the SS billets and then multiple small ones on each side that will sequence for turn indications. Kind of hard to explain but Ill post pics once I get to that part of the resto. Probably wont be for another 6 months or so. This should be a very unique look and hopefully can be pulled off looking as good as Im seeing it in my head.

Thanks again for the Head Light link. I think this is a good choice.

Pretty cool too.Although no Halo, so not a contender for me. Just thought I would share this since they are cool looking. But also VERY expensive!
