re-torque heads

Hi All, 

I have a question about to re-torque the heads after a complete re-built and break-in ? Standard heads, gaskets and head bolts, it's a 302 Windsor. I put about 200 miles on the engine thus far. Thanks!

You may have some difficulty accessing some of the head bolts due to the rockers. Check the intake torque, but unless you have issues with head gaskets, you should be fine.

i never retorque my head bolts.

I would just check the intake bolts and the valve cover bolts.

Modern head gaskets do not require retorquing.

I usually retorque the intake, as I've had times where I've found loose bolts. Never head gaskets unless specifically called for.
