Very clean looking, great result!

Where did you do the paint job and how? Looks like only very minor dust in paint...
This was done in the open in my back yard..there is junk in paint, not horrible, and I am doing only some base coats and the door backs and openings at home…the main body will be painted in a booth we are building at a friends shop…for this I used TCP Global single stage, and this was sprayed by a Summit Racing $35 small touch up gun with 1.0 tip. I have a nice higher level full size gun for the body, with a 1.3 tip. I have decided to paint the whole car Wimbledon White, then overlay grabber blue where needed, so the blue has a bright base.

Thanks for the info, sounds like a good plan! The color combo you want to do is really nice! Keep us posted 😊
And FYI I would not recommend painting an entire car in the back yard, at least not in my environment, too many neighbors mowing yards, too many trees constantly showering debris..to much grit in the driveway, even after blowing and spraying with water, I was on my back under the rockers then hovering over the open doorway…I tried brushing myself off after being under rockers, but I am sure I am the source of a good bit of the debris I did get…when I paint the main body, it will be in a framed room with plastic walls and ceilings, a wall of air filters for entry and exit air, and an explosion proof fan pulling spray out…and the car will be up un jackstands for access underneath.

This won’t look like much but I am building a paint booth to paint the car. I’ve read a lot about paint boost, basically you try to make a fairly clean room with airflow from front to back. With that in mind I am building a plastic box, it will have a minimum of eight filters in front and eight filters in rear which are 20 x 20” square each, it will have explosion proof LED lights, and it has a 5000 ft.³ per minute explosion proof fan to exhaust. I will have my 80 gallon two-stage air compressor with filters and dryers. Hopefully I will get a Decent job out of it. If my calculations are correct I should be changing the air in the room about every 2 to 3 minutes max, which is a little light on airflow but better than many I have seen.

Fantastic. You're pretty much in control, your work is looking great already. Enjoy!

I got the doors fit today, now time to fenders and hood fitment…and passenger quarter At door opening…I will be sanding a lot of that color, it was sprayed mainly to get the wrap around and door openings…

Progress….for the fenders….
truck bed liner inside fender after some final surface rust remediation with phosphoric acid and wire wheels….then some cracks welded in wheel openings, ground those down, then fiberglass resin and carbon fiber laid over the welds, and sanded that down, then sprayed fender with 2k primer…will wetsand and prep for color…I am going to spray the edges with color so the fender can be mounted on the car for alignment for the 2 tone paint….
