Ride height

I have a 73 conv. with the ram air hood. Sitting in the driver seat it always looks like I am driving uphill. The car appears to be level from from to rear as I measured from the pinch weld to the ground front and rear and got about 8 3/4 " both places. wheels are 15" , tires are 235/60 front and rear.

Does the ram air hood create an optical illusion that makes the front end look higher from the driver seat ?

I always felt the same way, changed mine up, raised leaf springs in the rear, dropped the springs in the front, 225s on the front 245's on the back.
