sway bar link diagonal?

Ok so I almost finished with some suspension upgrades. first question, i upgraded my front sway bar to a 1 1/8" and noticed that the end link is slanted? is it suppose to be that way? can i leave it? or?? and also i just installed some 600LB maier racing coils and as expected it doesnt sit at my desired right height. But someone told me that they havent settled in yet. So my question is when they are settled in usually how much do they drop? i am guessing like 1/4" while this person said 1". so i am not sure. what do you guys think?

and also what is the "stock" spring rate on factory coils?
