Yeah, of the car though, not you in the pool!
Scroll back a few pages. http://www.7173mustangs.com/thread-what-did-you-do-to-your-car-today?page=408Congrats Eric!! That's AWESOME! BUT.......................(I cant believe im the first to say this!!!).........................:worthlesswithoutpics:
Eric car looks great......just what I needed to hear about the pool....mine still has ICE in it!!Holy cow... what a day. When I got home, saw that the pool temp was up to 80... so I did something I've never done before: got home from a long day and took a swim in my own pool.
Thanks! I inspected it pretty well, luckily the car has been a California Car all it's life, so the frame rails, floor pans, front cowl, torque boxes, everything still look pretty factory fresh, it was just the trunk weatherstripping that let me down and allowed some water pooling in the rear lower quarters.Good deal! Here's hoping it actually IS just a little bit of rust - you know how these things can get. It's gonna be awesome! ::thumb::
Good luck, Brutha!
Well... just keep busy doing other stuff. If you have something car-related you can do and have ready for when it returns, concentrate on that. The painter had mine for almost 6 weeks, and I worked on getting my seats ready to just drop back in (unfortunately, I'm still not done with them, and I have the car back... so I'm still not ready... oh well). I did make a couple of trips to the shop here and there, but I was trying not to be a pest and in the way, more than anything. The time will fly by before you know it.How do I keep sane waiting for it?! Car's only been out of my possession for two solid days and I'm already itching to get it back!
You do that too!! LolAll I did today was pop my head in the garage to make sure that Chip Foose hasn't been by... Still there. Lol
