Cut in the vents and split the spoiler. Evolution from stock to modified. This idea just added another hundred hours of building returns and making more grills. Lol I think my new catch phrase is going to be " With all the work involved, if we didn't love this so much we'd hate it a lot!"

This is so awesome. The rear of the car looks nice and fat. I cannot wait until this is available to the rest of us to produce. It is definitely on my list of "to do" in my '71.

Thank you gentlemen. I hoped I could show you more done but the hard top for the other car took me much more time than I imagined. Not a complaint. I'm actually getting a great experience doing proper bodywork and repairing and reshaping fibreglass. All of it giving me the legs to tackle the 71 with a little less reservation.

Build primer and blocking before I send it to paint. Then upholster the underside. I'm getting the gum ball numbers put on later this week. I figure the Lemans hard top gives it a racy look and the car looks great with the numbers on it.

Holy fat ass batman! I love the bolstering from the door panels to the back of this kit. Which kit is it? I will be building one of these later in life! I love the width so much!

I bought it like this and had a vision for it and spent all my "71 build" time on it to get it there. Top will be going to paint so I can get back to the car for this forum.

As for the 71. I will be replacing the lower control arm and tierod ends with new pieces and installing the front brakes. Also a cable limiter for the max travel of the suspension so I can lift the car without damaging the coil over. Pics to follow.

That interior rocks! The rear view is menacing. The front view still good looking. The side view not as much. I've always had a problem with any kind of side skirts along the rockers on any muscle car. Never liked them. Not sure why. Just me I guess. I like Ford engines so I don't see the need for Chevy there unless it was convenient like, have one here so... then ya makes sense. Power is power.

Speaking of Chevy, at the risk of looking Camaroish I cut these two light pods into the front apron under the bumper. I figured I wouldn't know if I really liked them till I committed and I think they will work. It will hold a 3.5" unit and are 4.5" overall diameter. License plate isn't centred but you get the idea. I thing the more nostrils in the face, the more Python the feel. Oh ya, that's the intended theme of this build. KING PYTHON. With its wide body and visual cues this thick, muscular creature will strangle its opponents LOL. But on a serious note, my friend Marco has a knack for naming and designing cool emblems. He is passionate about it and is creating a portfolio of work of which I am proud to be a part of with these two cars.
