My Car
'71 Mustang Mach 1 M-code "Soylent Green"
'69 Plymouth Valiant 100
'68 Plymouth Satellite
'70-1/2 Falcon, and it looks intact. Deceptively intact. Might have to go see this one myself, even though I'm knee deep in the '68 Satellite:

Opinions? Never really looked up the values of the half-breed, Torinoesque, mid-year Falcons.

Hmm. Pretty worthless, even by book.

I'll probably go nuts and broke just digging up a proper set of 14x7" steel rims for it. Only have the spare from the '71 Mustang and a rough one from the '72.

Might still be worth looking at. Bet I'll find cowl rot. That's reason enough to run away.

Wow. Looks like small Torino. I really dig that. Never knew about those. For some funny reason "Falcon" to me means pre 66.

I had a 1970 Torino, same bodystyle. It was fun to turn it from a grandma's car to a mean street machine and not feel bad about tossing the original stuff out(no $$$ loss). And I ended up making a lil profit when done ::thumb::

Heres some pics of what I did to mine.

Another silent offering from Ford. The 70 "Little" Falcon had already gone out of production and a lot of the stamping dies had already been dismantled for shipment to Australia. Problem was the replacement Maverick had run into some delays and would not be launched on time. Not wanting to loose sales in that small car category Ford borrowed the Fairlane 2 door coupe, 4 door and wagon bodies. Wild thing about these cars was that you could get any engine that was offered in the Fairlane/Torino line. So you could order a 70 1/2 Falcon with a 429 CJ or SCJ with a Shaker!! I had seen one with the 429 CJ that belonged to an officer at the base close by. Every time he brought the car in to be serviced I begged him to sell me that car. Far as I can remember when he transferred out the car went with him. That would have been the perfect sleeper car. No "Look at me" stuff like laser stripes, GT or Cobra emblems, etc. Just pure nasty under the hood as anyone who has ever dropped the "Hammer" on a 429 can tell you!

You're right about the laser stripes Jeff. I would have made a good crow. I liked bright shiny things that said "Look at me". When I ordered my 72 Gran Torino Sport I went for 2B Bright Red (please write me a ticket) and the laser stripes (a whopping $37.99 option) that also said "Please stop me and write me a ticket"! Had a friend with a black 71 Torino GT, 429 CJ and a Shaker hood scoop with the red laser stripes than looked so good even our die hard Chevy buddies liked it. lol

That car just begs for a 429 based stroker! I love the 70-71 Torinos. The poor quality picture is of a father and son project from about 10 years ago. The car was very nice. It ended up being sold to a collector who had 22 other cars, all Mopars????? Chuck

Another one of Chuck's killer restorations! THX for posting that pic. I know you miss that car some...

Kurt- that car is neat because of the rarity - last Falcons. I would like to see it looking original with a motor like Chuck mentioned.

Sleeper badass car!
