71 double din DVD with back up camera

71 Fastbacks don't have the best visibility in the world.  I modified my dash to accept a double din radio with DVD and back up camera.

Very cool, :bravo: I always wanted to do that, our cars have terrible rear view. Where did the camera mount to?

That's cool, did that to my 71also. I used a camera from a broken r.v. Rear view side mirror. I flush mounted it in the deck lid above the lock.

Nice. Backup cameras are very handy in our cars. Mine is in the rearview mirror.

I have a great Kenwood double din nav radio with cameras and bluetooth and sirius that I took out when I blew up my Z and would love to install it in the stang, but won't hack up the original bezel to try. So, before I go purchase a good bezel to try to hack up for a double din install, does anyone already have a hacked up bezel they might want to sell inexpensively?

That looks great! My son bought me a double din for CHRISTmas. Its in line for installation after the brakes and A/C evaporator. Gotta get my butt in gear here!!

wanting to keep my car as original looking as possible but still needed a backup cam I replaced the mirror with a monitor mirorr. More natural to look up at the mirror also.
