I'm going through the same thing right now trying to replace my '00 I totaled back in Dec. She says I need something more practical...I say hell no, I'll negotiate till I get another Stang for a daily driver!

Ok...back on track here. I finally ordered the rest of he supplies to make the first real one of these a little while ago :) once I get the stuff it should only be a short time before I can make one and see how it works out. I know it's been a long time coming, but I'm sure the end result will be worth the wait.

I wrote of my daily driver Fox 5.0 about 2 years ago, i wanted to replace with a Mustang so bad but honestly it was time to get a "normal car". I went out and bought a Mazda2 and ill admit its nowhere near the same fun I think its still a fun little car with great gas mileage. The thing can stop and turn on a dime (especially when your the only one in the car.) But the best part is though now I have more money to spend on the 73 not spending it on My Fox.

Ok, got my prototype painted last night and just spent the last 3 hrs sanding and polishing it. I did this to make sure it was totally smooth and free of defects before making a mold from it. Tomorrow I hope to start making the mold, it's a long process because the mold has to be 2 halves and each will take at least overnight to cure.

Stay tuned...almost there

I am disappointed that transmission is from China -- at least the Mustangs I have seen recently on the dealership floors.

Stopped at a local Ford dealer to see the 2013 Shelby. They did not have one yet, so I looked at the new 5.0, I would not trade my 11 for one even swap:-/ IMO they have ruined the front end of the car. I dont think the salesman liked it when I compared it to a Dodge truck front end.

Someone say Dodge front end?

That's a Mustang II sketch from Richard Nessbit: http://deansgarage.com/2009/every-boys-dream-the-life-and-career-of-an-automotive-designer/

Not bad, even if it does look like a 2011 Charger.

I am pretty impressed that we made an idea go this far. Good job everyone for cheering on a dream and making our cars better. I have some interior ideas that I will be working on in the near future. Hope to get some drawn renderings up soon. Cant wait until these tail lights are finished!!!
