Hey everyone: I'm Steve from Detroit-area. Owned a few Mustangs over the years. My buddies and I are currently restoring a '72 convertible. Once we're done it'll be raffle'd off and the proceeds donated to a local charity.

My all time favorite vehicle is our 1969 Shelby GT500
Welcome, from Western Upstate NY. Pittsford, suburb of Rochester. We have 4 pony cars:
1969 Shelby GT500
1973 Mach 1
1973 Mustang Convertible with just over 20,000 original miles on it after being barn stored > 40 years.
1997 Hond aDel Sol SI
2020 Shelby GT500

Gotta love those pony cars, eh? We like the mix we have. And Car Season is FINALLY upon us up here in Snow Country at long last...

Hello Steve, any updates on the restoration? Was it raffled off already?

Thanks for welcoming us and thanks for asking. Love and attention has been going to the interior -- Here's a few things that have been keeping us busy ...

Interior trim re-dyed white
All window cranks re-greased and working
Rim-blow steering wheel upgrade WIP 90%
Horn contacts repaired; horns now working
IP circuit board replaced; fuel gauge now working
Dim IP lights upgraded to LEDs
Heater plenum repaired and working
Disconnected vacuum hoses reconnected; vent & defrost now working
Stereo re-wired & working
Incandescent bulbs for radio & ashtray replaced & working.
Seat belts re-dyed
Seat belt warning light now working
Chrome-plated bezels replaced (except for the convertible up/down bezel in case anyone knows where to get one)
New battery installed

We're planning to move the car to a garage with hoist late this month and shift work to the drivetrain and body (our body guy has been wintering in Florida :) )
