Hood Lock Mount Bracket

[Hey Jerry]

Working on my Boss which I painted back in 81. I never did install my hood bumpers on the hood lock mount bracket. Can someone send a close up side image? I cannot see the use of leveler 384669-S2. Is the threaded hood bumper retained on the top side by a nut and under the saddle with a washer and nut? Thanks!

I’m freshening up my engine bay this winter and am trying to figure out what the right finish for the hood pin latches shown in the picture above should be.  I’m aware that most people paint them but I’m pretty sure they are supposed to be plated but I’m struggling to find info.

im probably using the wrong name in the search function as nothing’s coming up there either.
