Motor Mount Question

I know the prothane mounts work with the 71-72 perches. Will they work with headers?

I’ve got the stock capture motor mounts on my 73, so I don’t know if this is any help or just not, but my shorty headers fit fine with no issues. I have a small block.

I have the prothane mounts with headers in my 71. You may have to grind a bit off the rear corner of the driver's side mount I say "may" because it fits but with a slight contact and may vary depending on the headers and tolerances. I had a heck of a time grinding it off with the engine on since I didn't realize it until too late, but should be very easy with the mounts off. I can't remember which of the corners but it should be obvious once you mock the mount. The amount to grind was very small in my case so it does not affect the integrity of the mount.
PS: my headers are the Hooker Comp
