Sound Deadener/insulation question.

I've let that Lowes peel and stick stuff sit in my garage opened for more than a week now, it still reeks of tar. I just bought a RAAMAT kit. I can't wait to get this stuff installed and get my car back on the road.

Weird, I have no tar smell at all in the car even after opening it after having the doors shut and the windows up for a few days. Now when it gets hot that might be a different story.
