Have actually been back in the garage the last couple of days. Spent yesterday basically cleaning everything up and getting the place in order. Today Jordan aka auron73mach1 called about the bumper I have for sale. Well needless to say ended up taking 2 to make 1 good one and getting it ready to ship. Shame the 1 had delaminated on the inside metal for the bottom bolt holes. Polyurathane (other than a couple of cuts underneath) really wasn't all that bad. Damn they're heavy!

Well didn't get anything done this past weekend because of my Anniversary. Let me share what the wife and I got each other for are Mustangs. We talked about what we both wanted for are anniversary. I maid her go first. She wanted the windows tinted on her 2013. Im thinking that's easy.:D She asked what I wanted? I said a 4 bolt main Cleveland block for the Mach 1 and my buddy just so happens to have one for sale. Im thinking fat chance on this one.:s She asked why do we need a 4 bolt main block? I said IF we build a 408 stroker it would be a stronger motor. Her reply was " why aren't we building a 408 stroker " God I love her. ::chili::

Sunday night, I ordered the 35 sq. ft. RAAMat kit and two of the 14 sq. ft. stick-on insulation kits, along with a bunch of stuff from OMS (brake lines, caliper kit, some switches, etc). The plan is to get the interior Rust Bullet'd and seam sealed this weekend, then the RAAMat stuff next weekend. Then I can run the electrics and just put new stuff back into the car from here on out. Once I get the electrics in, I'll work toward actually starting the car and getting the brakes done. I know I've been chomping at the bit to fire it up, but realized there were a lot of things I needed to get done first so I don't have to undo and redo them after I've gotten the car running. Ya know, I never thought I'd get to this point, but there's really no more major repair stuff left to do on the car - only minor restoration stuff on various parts as well as body work are left.

I did pick up a new pooch from the pound last night. We saw his sad little face on Pet Finder the other night and couldn't resist. He was dumped at the pound as a stray, so we don't even know his 'real' name or anything. So far, so good though - he could care less about the cats (aside from wanting to make friends) and seems like he's just happy to not be on his own anymore... so he's settling in just fine and his new name is 'Eddie.' My wife decided since I love Van Halen so much, to name him 'Eddie Van Hansen.' Pee-yew... but, gotta call him something I guess. (I was thinking about 'Nubby' since his tail's docked, but didn't speak up quickly enough apparently).

Anyway, here's the mugshots from the Pet Finder site:

That's great of you man. I spent the day boxing up the bumper, put in the firewall pad that came from OMS and then cleaning up motor brackets I got from Don65Stang in Mobile. Seems the best times we have is when we finally start putting it back together. Life is good! :D

Nice job Eric. Rescuing a dog can be so rewarding. He looks like a Eddie.

removed the right rear tire to fix a large dent in the lip of the wheel arch probably caused by a large rock getting kicked up into the wheel well.

Moved the car to the body shop. The attached picture shows a Canadian friend driving (floors are out).
Congrats on the big day.
It was. I was happy and sad (spend a ton of $$) at the same time.
Moving forward is a good thing. I'm hoping to be heading for paint by this time next year.

Back in Town..with a fire under my butt to get the Q-code ready for paint..I've set a goal to have it painted by spring 2013..So epoxy primed the trunk today..In preparation for the body work in the trunk area(just some minor filling smoothing)..Also shot epoxy in between all the seams where the panels join..Just turned in the fan adjustment..super low pressure...Let the epoxy run down the seams..So much easier with the rear body panel off..I'm going to use the spi bed-liner on the interior cavities of the quarter panels..outer wheelhouses..ala ford undercoating..

Fixed one of my upholstery goofs and started replacing the carpet on the fold-down seat. I'll post pics tomorrow. The chrome trim on the fold-down cleaned up nicely with some 00 steel wool.
Where did you get the carpet? I gotta do mine as well.

I'm pretty sure I got it from Ohio Mustang. It's the same as the floor carpet but rough cut in rectangular pieces, if I remember right it's about $30. I'll post up pictures tomorrow.
