We're completing the final prep before moving her into the paint booth (actually sitting in front of it now). I get more excite with each visit.
I know what you mean!

Scheduled to come home Tuesday.

Cut the rot out of the DS Inner fender 12 x 4 then explored the PS. After removing all the undercoating it was not nearly as bad only about a 3 x 3. Then decided to give the hands and shoulders a break and rebuilt the power steering pump.

So today, instead to go to the church, I finished to remove the exhaust, with a hammer, solid screw driver (which is now broken), WD40, and two hands, mine.

No. It came with the power steering pump in the donor car.

That bracket setup was for a truck. Nothing wrong with that other than it's heavy. They are easier to adjust the tension on.

That's an interesting place to put the exhaust crossover....

Exactly, was like this when I bought the car. Do you think where the H pipe is not good?

Thanks Don for reminding me about the 351M my car had in it. Would hate to waste paint on future scrap iron. :p

Past three days I drove it. The weather in Phoenix has been awesome for top down cruz'n.

My wife took it for a drive too. She was sweet and decided to put gas in it for me. Unfortunatly she up in regular (87 octane) instead of premium (91 octane). I am having to drive it a little less aggressive.

I was planning on puttng the enigne back into the wife's Jeep Liberty but it is still at the engine shop. I am going to spend some time on the Mustang instead. Something in the front end doesn't feel right.

Spent the day putting 2 more coats of the temperature and sound deadening (Envirotrol CC100) today. Yesterday got 1, 12 mil coat yesterday and 2, 20 mil coats today. Need to put 2 more coats on tomorrow to get to 80 mils. My little oven of a small space heater with fan and cover the car. Worked out great!

Nothing, just waiting for my builder to complete it. Weather was great and we wanted to ride. Can't wait to take receipt of the car, he has had it since May.

not today, but yesterday me and my dad took the mach from our house in east county san diego to a vinyard in temecula,CA to join the rest of my family and some friends who were doing a wine tasting tour (just cause it's not something you do very often)

it was about 80 miles 1-way so we basically drove it 160 or so, round trip....probably the farthest we've driven it yet. Though we are hoping to take it the huge fabulous fords show at knotts berry farm next year.

Though I had taken my camera cause we thought we were gonna do a family pic (and I had the idea of taking a few of the mach) it ended up not happening cause it was mid-afternoon when we were up there (so the light was lousy) and though it was pictuesque w/ the vinyard and a house that looked like a tuscan church in the background they didn't have anywhere nice to park the car.

Finished up the insulation today. Cleaned the steering box and third member I removed the day before. Have some magor plans on starting the reassembly tomorrow!

Not 71/73 but 70 so read if you want.

Took GF's car to my buddy's and with help from some good friends got the car completely stripped for soda blasting next week. The only really bad/unexpected news we found was the engine is a 75 model 351w. After a little research have decided this will not be the engine going back into the car so now the options are wide open. I'm thinking 351c 2v heads with an Air Gap and some other goodies. She was responsible for pics so.............
