Nicked a fuel line while cutting out a rusted floor pan. I thought I had the fuel line out of harms way, but apparently not. Lesson learned. In the future, I'll make sure to empty the fuel and pull the tank before I start making so many sparks. And I'll keep a BIG fire extinguisher handy. The little kitchen extinguisher was not up to the task.Man that sucks, I know you probably don't like to talk about it but how did it catch fire?
On the bright side, I now have a motor, trans, and rear end to build a rat rod around.
I've already got a 73 Mach 1 that I've agreed to buy. As soon as the insurance company reimburses me for my losses (should be very soon, now), I'll take a weekend and head over to eastern TN to drag it home.
