Go for it man! Oh, and Roy, Roll Tide!
Roll tide roll round and round and down the hole
War Eagle! Today I'm pulling for the Vols and my Tigers. However, I think I may be disappointed twice but I do have hope thanks for a few of the other Tigers getting suspended for drug use...for that I gotta say way to gaux! :D

Walked into the garage after roofing all day and stared at the sandblasting booth. Then decided to cut some more of the welds off the motor mounts. I'm a lazy dog!! I know.

Thanks buddy,

Well she has brakes :D and Tenn is "TIED" with Bama and its getting awful cold outside so who knows

One step closer to starting this engine. We purchased the last gasket, intake manifold, and are ready to bolt on the intake/carb assembly.

The new engine was dropped in the car yesterday and everything hooked up. Now I just need to remember how to break in a never fired totally rebuilt 351C 4V quench with cam.

Installed a plug'n'play relay kit that I bought off ebay for 50 bucks. No cutting wires, just disconnect head light plugs, plug one headlight plug into the new loom which powers the relay, plug the two loom plugs onto the lights, two earths to the body and one fused power wire to the battery.

Great thing about this system is that if the relays pack it in then I can plug the original headlight plugs back in in two seconds and the setup is back to factory original.

Uhh, no comment on the outcomes :p Congrats Roy on the brakes!! Did it end up being trapped air?

As for the player suspensions, IMHO they ought to be off the team. I see where even Bama had one fail a drug test...

I got in my 2010 GT and thought about how much I'd rather drive the Mach 1. I get deployed next September so I won't get to begin my full restoration until I get back the following summer, in 2014. At least by then I plan on buying a house, with a garage of course. I will have owned this car for 10 years by then. All good things take time.

Took a couple weeks off because of building a new backyard fence.

Spent last weekend at the Goodfellow AFB Car Show with my Jeep. Won 'Best In Class' for '80-'89 Modified, got my annual sunburn, and now have a new fence.

Today, ordered head bolts, engine fastener kit, windage tray, oil pan, CompCams Roller Rockers, and some Edelbrock valve covers so I can commence to putting the engine back together. Hopefully, I'll get 'er fired up before the end of the year.

Next repair will be the cowl damage, then onto the trunk area. Then hopefully I can just clean the rest and prep for body work.

Nice fence Eric! Now you have a place to collect them like me! :D

Nice Jeep too. Congrats on the best in class trophy.

Comment not required, the final score said it all. still not real happy with the pedal, but seems to work well:s

Started the engine for the first time. After following all the procedures for starting a new engine, we poured a little gas down the carb and turned the key. Fired right up :) It runs a little rough at 750 RPM but we measured one of the cam lobes and was 0.57 suggesting a mild cam.

Finished getting the 5 x7 x 1 1/2's off when I got home from work (first day back ;). Crossmember on Q code #1 is toast underneath. Definetly became the parts car tonight!!!

I took the day off and did all things Mach 1 in my back yard. Woohoo, what a perfect day! I didn't get any true repairs done. Mostly sorting parts and trying to inventory what I really have and what I still need. The goal is to sell the 71 H-code and focus repair efforts on the M-code which needs a lot of help to get rid of the rust. So I cleaned up the H-code and it looks good. I almost don't want to sell it since it is in really good condition. It is the red car that is my avatar pic...originally it was white. But my dream car is the M-code that has a ton of options (and rust). So anyone that wants a decent 71H-code. I'll be selling in the near future for what I have in it. I paid $3500 and have around $500 in parts...so $4k firm. Stay tuned for the true for sale ad in the coming weeks if interested.

I'm just stoked that I had a full day to play with 4 of my favorite cars! :d

I even helped the 17 year old with a couple of his projects with his 93.

Truly a perfect day! I'm really looking forward to retirement in 26 years! :p
