Mark you are a man on a mission!!!!!!! If I had your drive mine would be done by now. ::goodjob::Spent the last two days squirelling all over the car with a putty knife and D/A on missed undercoating and sealer. Scrape then sand, (beer break) sand and scrape some more. Tomorrow plan on starting at the front and just finish it as I need toward the back.

X3. I think Mark gets more done each day than all of us combined!X2Mark you are a man on a mission!!!!!!! Whew is right. What kind of coffee did you have this morning? I need some!Spent the morning removing undercoating from the rear frame and torque boxes. After lunch I don't know if it was talking to xoliex about traction bars or what, but got a wild hair to extricate the rear end of Q#1 (YES!, that's twine holding it from rolling forward, and NO!, no shade trees were injured during the extrication) After supper decided to do some easy sanding on the outer rocker panels and torque boxes. WHEW!! what a day. :sleepy:
Eric..Some advice on the new taillight panel. Check the fit of your taillights in the opening of the repro panel . I have seen many new repros that the lights didn't fit properly..You will see what I mean if you put them in your original first. If thats the case you'd be better off to leave your original on the car & section in what you need using the repro as a donor.Today, I got the trunk cleaned out and trunk stuff removed so I can get into ripping the nasty stuff out of it tomorrow. Went by the junkyard and visited the poor '72 I stole the front clip from. Scored a front valance (with signal lights and harnesses) for $25, and got the yard dawgs to cut the remaining portion of the cowl out of the car as well as the sheet metal surrounding the trunk so I can repair the rotted out portions under and beside the weather stripping. Got everything for $189.
My Edelbrock Performer intake and valley pan gasket set 'Christmas present' just showed up a few minutes ago from Summit Racing as well.
Here's the pics of what I've gotten done so far since Christmas Eve eve.
Battery tray apron (23 Dec) - seen others just repair the area instead of replacing the whole panel and went that route. Don't worry, I ground down my crappy welds and it's ready for Rust Bullet (when I hit the other areas I'm working on in a couple days)
Seat platforms (24 and 26 Dec) - got 'em modified (dropped an inch in the rear) and zapped down. Sprayed down some weld-thru, and Rust Bullet'd the undersides before installing
Driver side cowl damage (27 Dec) - like I said, I have the rest of a very nice cowl to repair this. Looking back, I just wish I would've had them cut the whole firewall and everything out with the front clip.
Passenger side cowl damage (27 Dec) - there was more of that weird latex coating than actual metal left of air horn... weird.
Driver side tail light panel (today) - not too bad.
Passenger side tail light panel (today) - a little worse, but repairable.
It's a bummer I need to remove the tail light panel since it's actually pretty solid (except for the top and a couple small spots) but I already have a new one ready to go in.
As I was cleaning out the trunk, I also re-discovered my water pump pulley that was pretty much all the way in against the back seat brackets - SCORE! I almost ordered a new one last week, since hemikiller hasn't been around.
So basically, today was a good day with lots of money 'saved' by not having to order new parts and finding stuff I forgot I already had. I took vacation all the way until 3 January, and it's 'All Rustang - All Day - Every Day' until then. Stay tuned for more updates and pics.
