Accidentally cut the metal fuel line

Do you have a link to an example of that compression fitting ?
Here's the setup I use for my fuel inlet into my carb. Its a hard metal preformed line, and the compression fitting that fits that line and gives something like a 6an thread so you can screw on different things. I use a little hand held pipe cutter to cut the steel line. But it sounds like you've already taken care of that. :D

And pro-tip, the copper ring is single use. If you tighten the thing in the wrong spot, the copper ring is stuck there and you have to cut it off. I was able to find a little pack of the copper rings at the local oreileys auto store for a couple bucks. You can use those with the rest of the fitting to try again.

I got the new Fuel line from NPD installed, and almost at the very end where it connects to the tank, I'm seeing this small kink.

Let me know if y'all think this will fly, or if I should check with NPD.

That kink will not hamper your performance; hook things up and run it !!!
I mean... ford made the fuel line that size for a reason. :D If the car would always work fine with less flow, they would have saved a few bucks on every car by running a smaller fuel line.

I think day to day driving, a slightly kinked line won't matter. It may be a different story when you want to run the motor wide open.

They ship the fuel line bent in half, you have to un bend it in the middle and two or three other places, and it's still not fitting correctly and bracing up like the OEM. I wish there was another way to do this.

You've already got that one in now. I'd run with it until you see its a problem, which may never happen.

One other way to do it would be buy a roll of fuel line and use your existing one as a pattern while you bend it yourself.
 
Don, you took the words out of my 'mouth' so to speak. You saved me a lot of one finger typing!
Gear or worm clamps have their uses, but NOT on fuel lines other than for setup and testing.

If we're keeping score, I caught one of these clamps failing on one of my fuel lines a couple months ago. I was not the one who installed it, but I do get the blame for not replacing it. :D

It was on the rubber line between the mechanical pump and the carb. The leak was dumping gas all over the intake manifold, which was full like a bathtub and overflowing down into the exhaust manifold. Easily about a gallon of gas under the car when I finally noticed it.

The clamp in question, and some of the pools of gas can be seen here. No doubt, if I had not noticed and driven the car, it would have ended in flames.
