Yes after 2 seasons with the the 4r70w its going out, sold already. So I got a hold of a TKO500 a few weeks ago. Changed the sync to carbonrings, forkpads, inputshaft bearing etc. Did an overhaul and now its back together. Picture of the install will come :)

The 4r70w Performed perfect I just always wanted a stick shift. When the TKO surfaced I had to grab it :)

Nice! Please document your install Rob, very interested to see how you solve the pedals swap, what mods are necessary in tunnel etc..

Looking forward to read about it, good luck!
Sure will do Fabrice , and thanks.

Thanks for documenting this Rob!

Out of curiosity, did you need to modify the QT bellhousing to get the runout in spec or was it good to go as received?

Thanks!

It was perfect very tight no mods at all,

Thanks for confirming. I have not used one yet but have heard good things about their quality.

I can't see the logo on the pedal, can you share the MFG of this part?

Thanks!

I had to trim mine some. Also had to customize the Scott drake roller bearing kit to make it fit to convert the auto part to a manual pedal box.

The original bracket had to be trimmed in 2 places, and there was no bushing in the hole. I just welded a washer to center the bolt. Now its fine. Bolt on ... not really :)

Season is almost finished in Sweden. The TKO500 has performed well and also the clutch. I have a small leak, so I will re-seal the case. The 3.50 gear will be changed to 3.25 or 3.0 because the first gear is 3.27 and you get a bit of a tractor feeling when leaving on first gear.
