O
Well, it’s finally done! The shop got everything fixed and it’s good to go. Paul, the shop owner, dropped it off himself yesterday, didn’t think he would have time this week, but he did to my surprise. I took it out for a short drive and wow, what a big difference! I was on a little bit of a roll and I gave it about a half throttle punch and it was smoking the tires with no problems. Don’t want to floor it yet, only 25 miles on the new motor, but I really like it so far, so much better than before. It drives good, feels great and I’m so glad to have it back home. Now we just need some nice weather so I can get the engine broken in.
So anyway thanks again to all of you guys for giving me some great advice and helping me out through this! I also want to give a big thank you to Don from OMS, c9zx, 73pony, bkdunah, boilermaker, barnett, Carolina Mountain Mustangs, Jeff73Mach1,Hemikiller, kevken1959, mwilson7, Stanglover, and tony-muscle, just to name a few. Sorry if I forgot anyone but I am very grateful to all of you.
I also want to give a big thank you to the shop that did all the accident repairs, and extra stuff I had them do. Paul and his crew at Mustang Craftsmen really did do a great job. They were very good at listening to me and keeping in touch and letting me know what was going on. My car is better than it was before, and I couldn’t be happier. Can’t wait to take it to some car shows and just drive it. I think it looks really good, and now I have a completely rebuilt car that I can trust.
Thanks again to everyone!
