Hello,

my name is Harald and i am leaving in a small village called Klosterneuburg next to Vienna in Austria. I am watching this Forum for years. So I decided to intodruce myself and my cars.😀

The 1971 Mach1 351-4V M-Code was build in November 70 in Metuchen. It was shipped to Switzerland on December 23 1970. I think it was a grey import. The first owner of this car had it till his death in Oct. 2015. A cousin of the first owner,he is from austria, got the car. I bought it 2018. The car is in original condition, only the paint was made new in original bright red.

The ohter one is a 1972 convertible 302-2V F-Code. It was build in January 1972 in Dearborn and sold in Chicago. The car ended up in the late 90`s in Anaheim/CA. It was bought from an austrian and he shipped the convertible to europe. A friend of mine bought this car in 2006. Unfortunately the car was in a very bad condition and it needed a fully restauration. My friend did a great job and the restauration was finished in 2009. A few years later he told to me that he is thinking about selling the car. I was always in love with this car so I had no other chance and I had to buy it in 2013.

Hi Harald, a lot of 71 Mach1 were officially imported to Switzerland trough Ford Switzerland. Usually they had a special Ford Switzerland tag on the drivers door? regards from Roland, Switzerland

Welcome. Wow, a couple of real nice Mustangs!

Please tell me about those Goodyear white letter tires on the Mach 1.
Hello Chris,

this are fake good year tires. The tires are Falken I orderd the white letters here: https://tire-style.de/productV4.

I like the look now. But when you are close to the tires you can see it. :giggle:
