I will be showing in the Concourse d'elegance at the Chattanooga Motorfest that weekend. I will need to head over and look the car over. Not a buyer, but always interested to see what they sell for.

It sure was a thing back then, lots of cars out there with green interiors still. Some actually look really good !
 
Wow! That is NICE! It's also nice to see a 'no stripes & spoilers' car with no stripes and spoilers, for a change.
I love this car. I have a thing for green and white. Not a fan of green interior. I would like it better without the argent hood also.
 
Hope it get's big money. That could mean more for mine should I decide to sell it.
It would have to be an early 72 as it has the long HP PS hose, but no insulator sleeve. Also, not sure if the PS pump cooler is correct, unless that was optional.

1971 and 1972 had black on the tail light bezels, 1973 did not.
Long PS hose to short hose occurred in late March of 1972 from what I have found.
I hope the car brings good money since I'm looking to sell as well. Chuck

Was 72 the first year that Ram Air was only available on the 351 2V? I know that was the case for 73. Or did I miss the Marti Report. I didn't see it in the pics gallery.
 
It’s not a 1 of 92 in Ivy Glow more like 1 of 92 of Ivy Glow with white Mach 1 interior. Mine is Ivy Glow with green Mach 1 interior and there were 595 like it.

To be clear guys, I like the green interiors, but my comment should have said why I liked the white, and not imply that I didn't like the green. It seems that the majority of the green cars back in the 70"s most often had the green interiors, and I thought it was cool that this one had a white interior.
My mom had a 1970 Sherwood Green Buick, wanna be GS, Skylark, that had the Sandlewood (tan) color interior. I loved that car, but back then a lot of folks thought it should have had the green interior. So I have a soft spot for green cars that have white/off white interiors.
You might wonder why I said "wanna be" GS. Get this, this was a Doctor's car before my folks bought it in 73. The Doctor always leased his cars, and he didn't believe in automatics, he didn't trust them, so it had a 3 on the tree. Well the Buick dealer hated getting his cars back at the end of the lease because they had trouble selling the cars because of the manual tranny, so they gave my Dad a great deal on this car, and since my Mom could drive a stick, it was no problem. To me as a 17 year old, it was a really cool car. First, 1970 Skylarks and GS's were probably the best looking year, and being Sherwood Green, it was a really pretty car, and so cool with A/C, and power windows. Eventually we swapped the 3 speed for a M 20 4 speed with a Hurst Competition plus bench seat shifter. I convinced Mom & Dad to let me put air shocks on it to jack up the rear a bit, and I found a set of Buick Magnum 500's for it, so of course I convinced them to get white letter tires when it was time to replace them, I loved my folks, and miss them so much. .

I looked the car over in person while parked in the parking garage before crossing the block. Car definitely presented nicely. He has taken some liberties in making it his own car which I definitely appreciate. I checked the bid goes on booth at the show and looks like high bid was in the mid $40k. A friend posted from a website that he posted it there wanting $69.5K but willing to consider $65K. That is strong money in my opinion. I think it would benefit the seller if focusing on the 1 of 92 production number to present the car in its "as built" condition. Again, not wanting to criticize a very nice car and want to see the seller get what he is wanting, but just my thoughts.

Yes, Ram air was only available on the 351 2V in 1972 due to Ford being unable to get EPA certification for the ram air equipped 351 4V after 1971.
