Found out that Wesco sells SEM spray on texture for car panels however they were closed today so I'll have to wait till Tuesday to check it out. Going to see if it makes the panels look any better.
Be careful since you already sprayed the panel with ? Do a small spot to test for compatibility..Or do a test on a piece of metal / cardboard using the paint you used as the first coat..Then the sem. Don't want you to end up with a wrinkle bomb

Just a quick update on the progress today. I managed to get the passenger side done with the exception of putting the weather stripping around the bottom of the door. Tomorrow I'll finish that and start putting the interior trim pieces in. I am hoping to have the front and rear windows in by Friday.

Go John, go!

Finished the passenger door today so all of the side windows are now on. I put in all the trim for the headliner in the interior and the trim for the trap door in the rear. Next I need to hook up all the AC ducting and then I can put on the dash and its ready for the front windshield. For the rear I will still need to install the sail panels and it will be ready for the rear glass. The big item still left for the interior will be getting the QTR and rear panels prepped.

Did the wind8w go back pretty easy. I had a hard time getting mine out and dread putting then back.
Yes, it was much easier putting them back in than originally taking them out. I spent more time adjusting them to get a good seal along the weather stripping gaskets than actually getting them back in. For the front and rear windows I will have them installed.

Tonight, I cleaned up all the rear interior panels and they are ready to be painted. Should be painted tomorrow and I will attach a couple of pics. Not sure if I will be ready for the front and rear window install this Friday. I still need to hook up the AC ducting and get the dash pad back in.

Got all the panels prepped and managed to get the 2 rear panels the rear trim plate and the 2 sail planes fitted. Tomorrow I need to get some brush on adhesive and will glue the sail planes down. I just placed the Qtr panel in place to see how the overall look would be. Attaching pic of the passenger side. Looks like the rest of the window install will be next week.

thx

Today I cleaned all the fold down seat parts and re-carpeted them. Then I installed the trap door and all the folding seat parts. Got the rear carpet in and also the driver side QTR panel in. Both sail panels are also glued in place. Tomorrow I continue to finish the rear half of the car. It's ready for the rear window now.

thx

Today I got the dash put back together and finally have the temp gauge working again. I found out how to test the gauge using resistors to simulate the temp sensor.

10 ohm gives you full swing to the right (High temp).

73 ohms gives you low temp reading

40 t0 46 ohms is 180 degrees.

All you have to do is place the resistor on the temp sensor connector wire and ground the other end of the resistor. The temp gauge should move.

To test the gauge itself you should see 10 to 14 ohms across the 2 terminals. Mine had 12 ohms. Wound up my issue was a corroded connection. You can use the same resistors to check the fuel gauge too.

Tomorrow I continue working on the interior.

Good progress today though I did not get everything done that I wanted to. The front drivers seat is not installed yet. I still need to do some electric work for the overdrive but I couldn't wait to see it with a front seat in. Going to try to get the rear glass cleaned this evening and the windows installed this week. Few pics on how it's coming together.
