Door hinge with washers?

Has anyone seen this, regular thickness washers (two washers on each of the three bolts) between the door mount and the lower hinge? Isn’t there enough adjustment on the pillar side to make up that thickness? It looks like there is. Should I put them back? Steve

Probably used the washers to adjust the door for worn hinge pins and bushings.

Funny, the hinge was just slightly bad. I did rebuild both, but they were way better than the passenger side. Both were just almost worn through the bushing, but no damage to the hole the bushings mounted in or the other half of the hinge. I took them off on the drivers side because I had new pins and I wanted to get them done.

So, leave the washers out, right?

The door went back on without the washers and I was able to adjust it just fine without them.
