Hi all, I'm looking forward to discussions and finding parts for my cars. I have a 1971 Mach 1, Pewter, H code, FMX, and taking delivery tomorrow on a 1971 Boss 351, met. blue, argent trim/stripes. The Boss is missing some important items, distributor, carb. I hope I can get some leads on locating these scarce parts.

Just curious ? why not order an MSD distributor and a good carb that are aftermarket for now? OR have you already put those in use and just looking for OEM stuff for originality?

If you don't mind non-original parts, try a Ford Duraspark distributor out of a 351M/400.

You're pretty much stuck with the 4300D carb if you have the original cast iron aluminum manifold to that Boss 351. M-code 351's used 4300A's, allowing a Holley 600 to be dumped directly on them, if you so wish to keep the intake Ford-badged (though the M-code intake is cast iron).
